Corner Brook Acute Care Hospital
New Western Memorial Regional Hospital
The $750M Corner Brook Acute Care Hospital, now Western Memorial Regional Hospital, is a 600,000-square-foot regional replacement hospital designed to expand access to advanced care across Western Newfoundland and Labrador. The 164-bed facility brings together acute and specialized services in a modern hospital environment, including expanded cancer care and radiation therapy, while connecting directly to an adjacent 145-bed long-term care facility.
As Equipment Planning and FF&E Consultant, OneEQ supported the medical equipment program across the full project lifecycle, developing equipment requirements, specifications, and budgets; coordinating architectural and engineering infrastructure; supporting procurement and vendor engagement; and carrying planning decisions through installation, commissioning, and operational readiness. This end-to-end involvement helped maintain continuity between what was planned, what was procured, and what was ultimately delivered—reducing handoff risk and supporting the successful implementation of a complex equipment program within a major P3 healthcare project.
