Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Alliance

The $1.96B Richmond Hospital Redevelopment Alliance Project is transforming an active acute care campus while addressing complex seismic, flood-resilience, infrastructure, and operational requirements. The redevelopment includes a new 216-bed acute care tower, expanded emergency, surgical, critical care, and diagnostic imaging capacity, increasing the hospital to 359 beds.

As the FF&E consultant, OneEQ is helping establish the equipment program before major scope and cost decisions are locked in during the Alliance Development Phase. Working alongside Vancouver Coastal Health and the Alliance team; HDR and Graham, OneEQ is validating equipment requirements, project schedule, room content, infrastructure needs, and budget assumptions to support development of the Target Outturn Cost. This early, integrated approach brings equipment planning into the broader design and cost conversation—helping identify risks sooner, strengthen alignment, and create greater certainty around scope, infrastructure, and capital investment. OneEQ is the chosen partner for the next phase; Alliance Agreement, where it will continue to assist the Alliance team in all matters related to equipment and furniture.
