New Stanford Hospital
Delivering one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in North America required more than equipment planning—it required a long-term strategy capable of adapting to rapid technological change while maintaining alignment across hundreds of stakeholders and thousands of equipment decisions.
OneEQ supported Stanford Hospital’s 824,000-square-foot replacement facility through equipment planning, BIM coordination, installation management, and implementation oversight. Over the course of the project, our team helped navigate evolving clinical technologies, coordinated complex vendor and construction relationships, and leveraged a “last responsible moment” decision-making approach to maximize access to emerging medical innovations without compromising schedule or infrastructure readiness.
By integrating equipment planning, technology coordination, and operational execution, OneEQ helped deliver a fully connected healthcare environment featuring 368 digital patient rooms and 20 advanced operating and imaging suites.
The result was a highly successful activation, with the hospital achieving Total Completion and Occupancy simultaneously, a move completed in just three and a half hours, and clinical services—including surgeries—commencing the same day. Today, Stanford Hospital stands as a model for future-ready healthcare delivery and technology-enabled patient care.
