The $1.4B Calgary Cancer Centre is a 1 million-square-foot comprehensive cancer facility designed to bring advanced treatment, diagnostics, research, and inpatient and outpatient care together in one highly specialized environment. The program includes surgical, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy services; diagnostic imaging; clinical, research, and transition laboratories; pharmacy; dental; and supporting care environments.

As FF&E consultant, OneEQ worked with Alberta Health Services, PCL and Dialog on coordinating equipment planning across some of healthcare’s most complex clinical and technology-intensive environments, aligning specialized equipment requirements with room design, infrastructure, workflow, and implementation needs. By integrating equipment and technology planning across treatment, diagnostic, laboratory, and research functions, OneEQ helped reduce coordination risk and ensure the facility’s physical and technical infrastructure could support both current clinical requirements and the evolving technologies central to modern cancer care.
